Through my final year of my photography degree course at Manchester Metropolitan University I have refined my working practise to interior spaces. I am currently looking at spaces of accommodation, permanent and temporary. Recently I have been going into people's homes and photographing spaces, in which they are comfortable in. Ones home is a space, which people nurture and care for purely for their own enjoyment. These environments express a persons taste and character. This is a fairly intrusive method of photographing a space which is so subjective, but this method enables me to work objectively on the location. |

My interest in internal spaces extends to the spaces of temporary habitation such as hotel rooms. The accommodation seems unworthy of decoration because of its transient state but yet the space is evident of some form of occupation. |
