People tell me I think too much, and I know I talk a great deal, attempting to process these thoughts I worry about misinterpretation; visual aids to allow me to at least feel better understood. Race Nation Memory is my working title as it is broad enough to encompass all aspects of my work I'm basically fascinated by everything. I document the beauty I see in all things, my thoughts and perceptions of the world that surrounds me. We are but products of our environment after all, visual beings more so now than ever, constantly processing multiple images, our eyes and brains flooded with messages, ideas, lifestyle choices and new technology to view it on. Its hard work, I miss the calm but photography has allowed me to cut through the mass to convey simple beauty, a place that's not demanding just a quick view in to my chaotic mind. |
