Within my practice I have been exploring the relationship between mapping, time and photography. I have been presenting the viewer with my interpretation of different spaces and locations. My work is created in a methodological way using tourist guides, set walks and road maps. I am interested in the restricted view which tourists often experience when visiting foreign cities.

Authenticity of the images can be questioned when text is introduced. The titles of my images are a combination of historical information, description of the setting, or the name of the building or landmark. The title changes the function of the image, from documentation of a location, to my interpretation of the space.
