SUZANNE DUFFY

It took me a while to come up with a concept to my work that I liked and was happy with. I tried many things before it but finally came up with an idea based on the work of Martin Pover. I started looking at empty zoo enclosures for the structure of the buildings, but also the lack of animals in them which happens all the time when you go to zoo's and can look for ages and not see anything. I concentrated on the symmetry between enclosures and capturing the space around them too.
