I have created photograms of the internal and external parts of broken and obsolete digital cameras, which I took apart piece by piece until they were split into their smallest components. This marriage of new digital technology with old photographic techniques is intended to emphasise the disparity between the two mediums, whist at the same time call into question the lifespan of the camera itself. Can traditional and digital photography survive side by side? Or is the younger destined to completely kill the original, and how long before new technology appears to do the same all over again?
