My work is very much staged narrative scenes in the mould of film stills. Focusing mainly on the individual and their role in society, I draw inspiration from philosophies such as existentialism and ontology, trying to question and make sense of the world around us, by depicting people and their situations. Small amounts of digital manipulation are used, however I try very hard to get the image as close to perfect as I can first time, through careful planning, composition and technical proficiency.
