My insecurities and imperfections come to the forefront the more I start to share personal issues and intimate details with the viewer and the more they become engaged with what are simply expressions of common emotions. I feel that combining my work with my personal life and opening myself up in such a way gives me an opportunity to reach out to an audience and express emotions to them. Emotions play a big part in our lives physically and mentally, I see my work representing not just how I feel, I would like others to consider it as an open book, a diary or a fraction from my heart, which they can read and understand. I have a deep interest in high contrast black and white photography, creating a mood and tone with each image which can intrigue the viewer and give my work narrative and flow.
