Freud's Desk

Sigmund Freud's theory of scopophillia states that our curiosity and desire to look stems from our childhood. I wanted to document this curiosity whilst provoking it within viewers. For three months I collected found objects in the apartment block in which I live. This collection became the basis of a documentation of a series of writers' curiosity and a series of inkblots. The collection became part of an installation piece, replacing the objects in a recreation of Freud's desk.
