Mass Production

I am drawn to the idea of finding two different locations that you would think have no relationship between them. The two subjects are Factories and Schools as they both deal with a kind of mass production, Factories with products and Schools with students. It is the cycle of production and the relationship between these two forms that interests me. My work is based within nine towns that together form Tameside Metropolitan Borough and I am focusing on the Factories and Schools situated within the boarders of each district. The work is far from a snap shot, it is driven by a strict methodology and by following the strict methods that I set myself the work itself becomes a production line.
