Robert Parker

I have looked at the interior space. I think that the interior can be likened to a fingerprint, it is individual to the occupier. I like the changability of an interior space. We build up a strong relationship with the space we inhabit, which creates emotions and evokes sentimentality when we reflect on the interiors we grew up in or places that we visited. I have tried to capture interiors that have been personalised by the people who use them. In each image the changes are temporary, the balloons will deflate, the fruit stickers will be removed and the rosettes will be replaced. I like the evolution that takes place and have tried to preserve it as a permanent reminder.
