Demian Shorter

I constantly strive for a certain harmony between objects and the creation of the image. Each of these photographs are made up by placing two images together. I looked for a visual harmony by arranging them where each photograph visually reacts with its partner. I have made what was already a completed image become a fragment joining another image which then becomes another single entity. They ask the viewer to take away the understanding of each individual image and combine the surface qualities.
