Forgotten Locale

This piece of work is part of an autobiographical study, focussing on my interaction within the personal space of my car. Through undertaking studies of seemingly insignificant spaces that are personal to me, such as my car, which initially I focussed on because it is where I spend a lot of time on my own, with my thoughts, I realised that it is aspects of the space that allows this comfort and confidence within the space. I realised that the discarded fragments of my habitual routines are significant to my relaxation within the space. Through taking close up photographs, magnifying the imperfections and concentrating on specific contours, I have created a series of images that celebrate the fundamentals of landscape photography.
