My work looks into the past. I look at a collection and how it has made its way to me. Each object was kept for a reason and holds meaning to a life that has a connection to mine. Every mark left is a piece of my grandfather. A man I never knew. His belongings seem worthless, not holding any real value. But each one provokes me to learn about the person he was and therefore embracing a hidden importance to me.
